Quite simply, Tignes has it all! Whether it is steep couloirs, wide open pistes or gentle beginner slopes you’re after,
Tignes will not disappoint. And when you add in Val d’Isere and the rest of the Espace Killy (definitely upgrade your pass),
it’s a serious challenge to ski the whole area in a season, let alone a week…

If you’re just starting out then head to the gentle Bollin sector in Val Claret, or the Rosset lift in Le Lac before progressing to the cruisy greens beneath the Borsat chair. Then for those of you looking to get some serious mileage under your skis on the blues and reds, spend the day crossing to the far end of the ski area at the Glacier de Pissaillas high above Val d’Isere, but don’t miss the last Tommeuses lift back – a taxi will set you back €40+! And if powder, steeps and off piste are your thing then the Espace Killy is one huge playground – hire a local guide and explore the Chardonnet Bowl or the Vallon de la Sache, or in bad weather head to the legendary Fornet tree runs across in Val d’Isere.

Add to all of this two world-class terrain parks, a boardercross course, two snowsure glaciers some of the best après ski in
the French Alps at La Folie Douce and the Espace Killy certainly has the full package.

At THE SKI TRIP, we look after every type of skier, from the newbies to the pros.

Never skied or boarded before? Or want to change between skiing and boarding? The Ski Trip is the place for you. You’ll be able to learn with loads of other newbies, with the best instructors...and if you aren’t a fan, we have plenty more in store for you!

For the newbies, we have you sorted from start to finish. In advance, take advantage of one of our lesson deals at your local ski centre - the Monday before The Ski Trip will be the special The Ski Trip session, where you will be able to get a quick starter or refresher lesson before your trip.

Get your gear sorted from our friends at Crevasse, and hire a starter pack from our ski provider Skiset in resort.

When you arrive, join in to one of the The Ski Trip X ESF group lessons. Not only are our group lessons better priced than anywhere else, but also you are guaranteed to be with other Ski Trippers. You’ll finish off each day with lunch and drinks with other newbies, then can join your crew for a chilled afternoon ski together.

Want to hone your skills? The Ski Trip have teamed up with ESF to offer great value group and private lessons, so whether you need a refresher or someone to take you to the next level, we have the answer for you.

Want an instructor just for your group of mates? No problem, this is available when you book.

Pour les bons skieurs, we have plenty sorted. Check out the advanced ski lesson options on our booking site, where you will be able to book:

- Freestyle clinics
- Off The Ski Trip clinics
- Guided ski days (lunch included) in association with The Ski Club

Party Time

With our festival partner SNOWBOXX, we’ll be taking over the clubs in resort in the evenings. They’ll be bringing with them their residents and some special guests (TBA!).

Snowboxx is the undisputed champion of alpine festivals and has previously played host to Gorgon City, Snakehips, Sigma, Blonde, Grandmaster Flash, Jungle and many more. Through the week, they’ll be throwing parties in Blue Girl and Couloir, the two best clubs in Val Claret.
